Microsoft Zune's Battery tested.


Microsoft has tested the zune's battery and it sounds good that battery has a life of upto 13 hrs while listening to music and that too when the wireless is switched on and when the wireless is switched off, zune player has 14 hrs of battery life. While its upto 4 hrs when you play videos and pictures.

I think the battery life is pretty good and quiet similar to ipod's.

Difference Between Apple Ipod And Microsoft Zune.


Here I'll go through a list of features supported by microsoft zune that are not currently supported by apple's ipod.

Apple’s ipod has been long dominating the digital media player (DMP) market. And why not; ipod has been far superior in performance and features when compared to its rivals.

But Microsoft is set to change this by coming out with their own media player named zune, which will debut to the world on November 14, 2006. The product is being manufactured by Toshiba under Microsoft’s name and will be available for exactly the same price as the 30GB ipod.

Here I’ll compare and list a few key differences between zune and ipod. For example I’ll take the 30GB ipod. Since, Microsoft is also offering 30GB storage for zune.

Below are the list of features supported by zune and not Ipod.

1) Landscape video
2) Preloaded Audio and video
3) Built in FM tuner
4) Social networking (and)
5) Custom background.

But two major differences are file sharing and Wi-Fi (aka wireless) support.

Yes, every zune will have the ability to wirelessly share and play songs, videos and pictures with other zunes. Microsoft zune will be able to hold 7,500 songs, 25,000 pictures or 100 hours of video.

With all the exciting and promising features, Microsoft will definitely take a big chunk of media player market form apple, but how much only time will tell.

Can we say welcome zune and bye bye ipod?, who knows anything can happen. Microsoft is launching zune media player on november 14th and the retail price of the product is $249.99. Let us see will zune dominate ipod, it's a very difficult question to be answered as many of them feel that it is next to impossible to beat Apple - Ipod, Google - Search Engine and Microsoft - windows.

Each and every company has dominated the market with some special products. Zune is actually Toshiba made technology with brand name Microsoft. Zune media player has really got some cool features, it has come up with 30 Gb space with well equipped wireless functionality between two zunes, you can share music, pictures and any home recordings. when we look at the screen size it is awesome it is 3inch LCD video screen.. hmm liked it.

Zune mp3 player has some default features aswell it has some preloaded music, videos, songs.One can easily download songs and music of his interest once it is availiable in zune market library.
